For ICSTCC 2022, there will be awarded 4 prizes with a value of 500 Euro/prize, as follows: Best Paper and Best Paper of a PhD Student on System Theory and Control, and Best Paper and Best Paper of a PhD Student on Computing.

The ICSTCC 2022 will be held traditionally, onsite, following all the safety restrictions that may be in force at the time of the conference.

We are aware of the actual context and that some of the authors may still have objections against traveling and attending the event on-site. For those, we make it possible to participate in the conference online – presenting their papers and taking part in all sessions by means of video conference (technical details regarding online presentation will be announced soon).

 International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing – ICSTCC 2022 – aims at bringing together, under a unique forum, scientists from Academia and Industry to discuss the state of the art and the new trends in System Theory, Control and Computer Engineering, and at promoting professional interactions and fellowships.

Starting from 2011, ICSTCC has been technically co-sponsored by IEEE Control Systems Society and the Proceedings of every edition have been included in IEEE Xplore Digital Library. For the 2013 - 2020 editions, the Proceedings have been indexed in Clarivate Analytics Web of Science. The Proceedings of ICSTCC 2021 have also been submitted for indexing to Clarivate Analytics Web of Science. 

In accordance with the Letter of Acquisition signed with IEEE, the Proceedings of ICSTCC 2022 will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The Proceedings will also be submitted for indexing in the Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics) Conference Proceedings Citation Index (formerly ISI Proceedings).

This conference edition joins four previous different scientific meetings:

• SINTES (International Conference on System Theory and Control) – organized by the Faculty of Automation, Computers and Electronics from University of Craiova;
• SACCS (International Symposium on Automatic Control and Computer Science) – organized by the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Engineering from “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi;
• SIMSIS (International Symposium on Modelling, Simulation and Identification Systems) – organized by the Faculty of Control Systems, Computers, Electrical and Electronics Engineering from “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati;
• CONTI (International Conference on Technical Informatics) – organized by the Faculty of Automation and Computers, the Department of Automation and Applied Informatics and the Department of Computers and Information Technology from the  Politehnica University of Timisoara.

Starting with the 2021 edition, the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca joins the consortium of faculties that are organizing the International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing. We are convinced that the increased collaboration between five prestigious Romanian faculties in the field of Control and Computer Engineering will have a positive impact on the quality of the conference and will emphasize the status of ICSTCC as an important event in this field.
